The Terminal List gear from episode 4 thumbnail 16x9

This post will focus exclusively on Season 1, Episode 4 – “Detachment.” I’ll give a little bit of back story for context, as well as some cool behind-the-scenes info, provided by Gary Tuers of Xtreme_props. Gary was the prop master, in charge of setting up all the weapons for the show. You can find lots of behind-the-scenes pictures of the guns and gear on his Instagram page. Other sources include The Terminal List‘s on-set photographer Justin Lubin, Jack Carr’s website & Instagram, the terminallistpv Instagram, Internet Movie Firearms Database, and Chris Pratt’s Instagram profile.

I would also like to thank Mr. D’Arcy Echols for taking the time to answer my questions about his work and providing several images of the Echols Legend LX-1 rifle that he built for The Terminal List. Mr. Echols is a legend himself, and you’ll struggle to find a more humble and capable gun builder.

The Terminal List Episode 1 “The Engram”- Guns – Gear – & Featured Brands

I’m a huge gear and gun nerd. Since this is such an awesome show, I figured this would make a fun post, where I could provide links for fellow gear nerds to have an easy reference point for purchasing the guns, knives, optics, and more from the show.

How To Build An AR-15 Lower Receiver In Ten Easy Steps – Video Guide

Palmetto State Armory Lower Parts Kit

Whether you’re a first-time AR-15 builder or a seasoned pro, this post is for you! This guide will help you through the process, including photos to reference. The biggest advantage of buying and building a kit like this is that it doesn’t actually contain the “firearm”, which in this case is a stripped lower receiver. That means it can ship directly to your house without messing with background checks, waiting periods, and other nonsense. This kit doesn’t come with an upper receiver, charging handle, or complete bolt carrier group. Those are all parts of the AR upper receiver and are usually not sold in lower parts kits like this one.

Seekins Precision SRS Rail Bipod Attachment Point

The Seekins Precision SRS, or Sling Rail Stock, is proudly made in the USA and comes in several different sizes that have been precision CNC-machined out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum. They are also Type III Class 2 Hardcoat Anodized for a matte black finish.

In simple terms, this little piece of metal adds a four-slot Picatinny rail to your otherwise bare stock. The Seekins Precision SRS Rail featured in the above video and in this article is the 2-inch version, specifically for H-S Precision stocks like the one I have installed on my Remington 700. The other sizes available are 3-inch for McMillan and 2.5-inch for Bell & Carlson to precisely fit the existing sling swivel holes in the stocks.
