Professional Firearm Cleaning Services

Step 1:

Choose the service and options you'd like above. (If you want to send more than one gun at a time, that's a great way to save on shipping costs.)

UPS and FedEx have changed their rules, requiring an FFL to send firearms, per their terms of service. As an FFL, we will provide the shipping label for you to use.

Step 2:

Once you have placed your order, we will email our FFL to you, as well as a gunsmithing waiver form and a shipping label.

Digitally sign the waiver. Print the shipping label, FFL, order invoice, and copy of your driver's license.
Include the printed copies of your order invoice, driver's license, and our FFL in the box with your firearm.
Tape the shipping label to the box, and take it to your local FedEx, UPS, or USPS, depending on the label.

Step 3:

Grab a beverage and relax! We will receive your gun, secure it in our gun safe, and prepare to clean it for you. During the cleaning process, we will completely disassemble the gun into it's smallest parts, run everything through our ultrasonic cleaner, and spot clean trouble spots as needed.

Step 4:

Once your firearm is professionally cleaned, oiled, reassembled, and functions tested, we will ship it back to you. You will receive an email with tracking information, and an adult signature will be required for delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our firearm cleaning service includes a complete disassembly and reassembly of your firearm, use of an Ultra Sonic cleaner, advanced oil, & grease remover, and spot cleaning with specialized tools to ensure thorough cleanliness. We also function test and dryfire after reassembly.

That depends entirely on how often and how many rounds you shoot. Someone shooting 1,000 rounds per week would need a detailed cleaning a lot more often than someone who shoots a box or two every six months. If you notice that your gun isn’t cycling properly, isn’t ejecting spent casings very well, or seems grimy, those are good indicators that it needs a full detail cleaning and oil.

Yes, our advanced techniques and specialized tools are designed to safely clean all types of firearms without causing any damage.

We go beyond basic cleaning by disassembling and reassembling each firearm down to individual parts. This is not a “field strip” cleaning you would normally do at home. We use an ultrasonic cleaner and high-grade materials to provide unmatched quality. We also inspect parts and function test everything to make sure your firearm performs exactly as it should.

Yes, as a veteran-owned small business, we are fully licensed and insured. We strictly adhere to all local and federal regulations for firearm handling and servicing. We hold both a Federal Firearms License as a manufacturer, as well as a Washington State Firearms & Ammunition Dealer License.

The shipping cost you see at checkout covers the cost of shipping both ways – we provide the shipping label. The other reason the cost is high is because firearms are required to be shipped via 2nd-day air AND have an adult signature upon delivery.

We are located in Battle Ground, WA, which is about 30 minutes north of Porland, OR. If you aren’t within driving distance, we accept firearms by USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

The duration can vary, depending on the type and condition of the firearm; but generally, a professional cleaning with disassembly and reassembly takes a few hours.

Absolutely! We offer convenient drop-off and pick-up times to fit your schedule. Just contact us to arrange the details.

Apart from cleaning, we also offer a range of gunsmith services including repairs, modifications, and restorations. We can assess your firearm and advise on any additional services required. We also offer laser engraving, stippling, and custom services. As an authorized dealer for all of the major firearm brands, we can source OEM replacement parts and install them for you.

Our rates vary, depending on the type and size of the firearm. Please contact us for a quote, if you don’t find pricing on this page for the specific firearm you would like to have cleaned.

Yes, scheduling an appointment will ensure we can provide timely service for you. We are not a retail store, so please contact us in advance, if you are local and would like to drop off your gun.

Regular light cleaning after each use can help maintain your firearm’s performance. This includes wiping down the exterior and lightly oiling moving parts. The biggest issue in this area would be running them completely dry. Oil is your gun’s friend, and it will drastically help to keep your guns running smoothly.

Yes, regular professional cleaning can enhance the accuracy of your firearm by ensuring that the barrel is free of residue build-up. If you have a lot of junk in your barrel that is clogging up your rifling, you will see an improvement in accuracy. Over time, the grooves in your barrel (rifling) collect copper and carbon buildup that changes the internal ballistics in unpredictable ways. The biggest difference you’ll notice is how smooth and efficient the function of the firearm becomes after cleaning and oiling.

As a licensed and insured business, we follow strict safety protocols. Your firearm will be stored securely while in our possession, and the shipping label we provide includes insurance for shipping.

We can clean all types of firearms, including handguns, shotguns, and rifles. If you have a particular exotic type or model, please contact us to find out if we will be able to service your specialized firearm(s).

Yes (within reason), our comprehensive cleaning process includes minor rust removal and prevention treatment to protect your firearm from future damage. If you left your rifle out in the woods for the last three years, and it now looks more like a carrot than a rifle, that’s a different story. If you think it’s overly rusted, please contact us prior to placing an order, so we can get a custom quote for you.

We strive to use environmentally friendly products wherever possible without compromising on the quality of our cleaning services. All of the chemicals and oils used are biodegradable and safe for the environment.

Please contact us about your specific firearm, so we can assess on a case-by-case basis. We are not a historical restoration business, so depending on what you have, you will likely need to seek out a specialized antique firearms restoration company.

During cleaning, if we identify parts that need to be replaced, we will contact you to find out if you want us to source and install the part(s).

Of course! It’s an important skill to have, if you plan on keeping your firearms running smoothly. The biggest difference between normal cleaning and our professional cleaning is the ultrasonic cleaner and complete disassembly. You’d be shocked at how much junk finds its way into places you wouldn’t consider. If you don’t believe me, just take your extractor off, and see what you find in there.

If you notice a decrease in accuracy, visible grime, or your firearm is not operating smoothly, it might be time for a professional cleaning. If you keep having malfunctions even after cleaning it yourself, we would strongly recommend a professional inspection and cleaning.

We use Simple Green HD Pro, an oil and grease remover, in our ultrasonic cleaner and then treat every component with Frog Lube. Your gun will come back to you smelling like wintergreen mint and running like a champ.

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you have any issues following our cleaning service, please let us know immediately, so we can address any concerns right away.

Yes, regular professional cleaning can remove build-up that often causes jamming, improving the overall operation of your firearm. We also inspect component parts and can identify issues that may be causing malfunctions.

We can likely handle multiple firearms at once. Please contact us in advance, so we can accommodate your needs.

Our cleaning process is designed to be gentle and safe on all finishes. We use only firearm-approved cleaning solutions to protect your firearm’s appearance.

While we’re equipped to handle most types of firearms, there may be some exceptions. If you have a specific model in question, please contact us for confirmation.

The short answer is no, unless you have an FFL. The longer answer is that both UPS and FedEx accept firearms for shipping but only from federally licensed shippers. As of 2023, private individuals are not allowed to ship firearms using these services, per the terms of service of both companies. You can ship rifles and shotguns via the USPS, but it is against federal law to use USPS to ship a handgun.

Since we hold a valid FFL and provide the shipping label, you won’t need to worry about paying a local FFL to ship your firearms for cleaning.

Yes, it is legal to ship firearms in the U.S., but there are specific rules to follow. The U.S. Postal Service recommends that long guns be sent by registered mail with no markings on the package that would indicate the contents. Handguns cannot be mailed through the USPS and must be shipped through a common or contract carrier. Both FedEx and UPS have changed their terms of service to exclude shipping any firearms or firearm parts without an FFL.

Any person may ship firearms directly to a licensee in any State, with no requirement for another licensee to ship the firearm. However, handguns and other concealable firearms are not mailable through the United States Postal Service and must be shipped via private common or contract carrier (18 U.S.C. § 1715). The USPS and private common or contract carriers may also have additional restrictions on firearms shipments by unlicensed persons. Firearms shipped to FFLs for repair or any other lawful purpose may be returned to the person from whom received without transferring the firearm through an FFL in the recipient’s State of residence. FFLs may also return a replacement firearm of the same kind and type to the person from whom received (18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(2)(A)). An ATF Form 4473 is required for the return of the firearm, except in instances when a firearm is delivered to a licensee for the sole purpose of repair or customizing, and the same firearm or a replacement firearm is returned to the person from whom received (27 CFR § 478.124(a)).

Yes, we can ship your firearm back to you across state lines.
