Magpul
Magpul Industries Corporation, founded in 1999, is a prominent American designer and manufacturer of advanced polymer and composite firearms accessories such as M-LOK. The company's name derives from its inaugural product, the MagPul (Magazine Puller), specifically designed as an accessory for STANAG magazines used by NATO armed forces to facilitate the easy retrieval of magazines from pouches. Originally based in Boulder, Colorado, Magpul made the strategic decision to relocate its production facilities to Wyoming and its corporate offices to Austin, Texas, due to a proposed magazine capacity law that would render many of its products illegal in Colorado. The company's founder, Richard M. Fitzpatrick, a former Force Recon sergeant with the US Marine Corps, established two divisions: Magpul Industries, specializing in firearms accessories, and Magpul Core, launched in 2008 under the name Magpul Dynamics.
